Thanks for visiting! My name is Joseph Sparks, and I'm just your average guy who happens to really enjoy photography...

My interest in photography really came about in mid 2007 when I purchased my first digital camera so that I could
photograph my children. I soon came to realize that I really enjoyed the creativity that photography brings me.

My childhood in the seventies and eighties was spent moving all over the U.S. as my father worked for a company that built high transmission power-lines;
a job which required us to move to a different state about once a year allowing me to really get a taste of the country. Growing up, I never had much of a
camera, but I took a lot of mental images of all the beautiful places we would visit and I try to translate these artistic notions into my
photography, hopefully creating a fresh and unique style. Clouds, mountains, water, and wildlife are my
favorite subjects to shoot and I love the vast landscapes that can be found in Montana and Wyoming.

I'm not sure where photography will take me, but so far I am enjoying the journey!
