They Only Come Out at Night

A fun little shoot with the kids. We were all on the trampoline and I noticed the wild looking clouds in the background, so I broke out the wide angle and this is what we got… The kids really had a lot of fun growling and making faces at me. The toughest part was trying to get them not to jump while I was lying on my back shooting.

Rosey Outlook

Had a photo-shoot last night with a bunch of flowers. Thanks to Wendy Dunn for setting it all up, had lots of fun and got some pretty nice shots…. (at least I think so :-)

On the way home this Sunday from a gymnastics meet in Cabot, AR, we stopped in Clarksville, AR at McDonalds for a little break and noticed a nice looking trail leading out of the parking lot. Turned out to be quite a nice trail; paved and 1.8 miles long and part of a city park. This neat old bridge was very near the trail-head and I just had to get a shot of it.

Spadra Creek Bridge

On older gentleman walked up to me and was trying to ask me something, but he was so hard to understand that I couldn’t really figure out what he was wanting or looking for…? He finally gave up and walked off. Something about looking for his hunting partner who was somewhere near in the woods. It was a little bizarre.

Belt Replacement

We’re all just cogs on a big wheel that is being spun by the belt of life…Had to put a new belt on our grinding machine…. Really surprised that the first one lasted almost ten years!

Cold Sunday!

Went to Springfield, MO with my daughter for a gymnastics meet. I took almost 400 shots at the meet, but at 17 degrees with a 15mph breeze, it was WAY too cold for me to get outside and take any shots. (ok, I’m a wimp) Springfield has some really interesting spots downtown though so I think I’ll have to take a trip back when the weather improves a little. Here’s a little shot of my star gymnast…
